Apple Cinnamon Muffins Recipe
Apple Cinnamon Muffins are a great breakfast treat on the weekend. If you are never sure what to do with the apples that are beginning to go bad. Don’t throw them out, turned those apples into great tasting apple cinnamon muffins!
- APPLE CINNAMON MUFFINS BATTER
- 1 3/4 c Flour
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- dash Salt
- 1/4 c Maple Syrup
- 1 Egg
- 3/4 c Milk
- 1/3 c Butter – melted
- 1 c Apple – finely chopped
- APPLE CINNAMON MUFFINS TOPPING
- 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 2 tbsp Sliced Almonds
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- Preheat 400 degrees
- Apple Cinnamon Muffin Batter - Mix dry ingredients into a medium bowl, flour, cinnamon, salt and baking powder. In a large mixing bowl mix your wet ingredients, syrup, egg, milk, butter. Slowly stir the dry ingredients in. Finish by folding in the apple slices.
- Apple Cinnamon Muffin Topping - Mix your brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Slowly stir in the melted butter.
- Pour your batter into a muffin greased muffin tray and sprinkle your toppings on top. Place some sliced almonds on top of your toppings.
- Bake for about 17-20 minutes.
