Asian Broccoli Recipe
This Broccoli recipe was created by accident, I finished up cooking an easy sesame chicken recipe and noticed I had alot of excess broccoli and Asian Toasted Sesame sauce left over. I decided to mix them both together and ended up with a great side dish or even a possible easy appetizer recipe.
source: my own creation
- Broccoli (fresh or frozen)
- Kraft Light Asian Toasted Sesame Dressing
- Corn starch
- Start off by boiling a pot of water for your broccoli, I recommend using broccoli florets since I feel their texture and taste are better then the broccoli stems.
- While your broccoli is boiling you can take your Kraft Light dressing and start to simmer. It has a good sweet and tangy taste to it, if you would like some more tang or kick to it, I recommend a splash of hot sauce or even some red pepper flakes. Once this comes to a nice simmer you can thicken the Asian Sesame dressing with a mixture of corn starch and cold water.
- Once the broccoli is soft enough to you liking, proceed by draining the water and topping it off with your heated Asian Toasted Sesame sauce.
