Breakfast Pizza Recipe

You can never eat to much pizza!  Breakfast pizza is a great hang over meal.  If pizza was healthier I would be having pizza at least 5 times a week!  Give this recipe a try next time you have a left over bagel or english muffin.  Easy breakfast pizza!

  • 1 Bagel or English Muffin – split
  • 4 tbsp Pizza Sauce
  • 1/4 lb Cheese – prefer mozzarella
  • 1 tsp Garlic – powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano – powder
  • Breakfast Sausage – ground up (optional)
  1. Pre-toast your bagel a little – this will help prevent the pizza sauce from soaking into the soft dough.
  2. Spread your pizza sauce on top, sprinkle on your garlic and oregano.  Dash of salt, pepper and red pepper flakes can add some flavor (optional).
  3. Top it off with your cheese, either shredded or thinly sliced.
  4. If you have your breakfast sausage, sprinkle that on top of the cheese, make sure it is precooked.
  5. Place your bagel halves under the oven’s broiler. Be sure to keep an eye on it because the broiler can easily burn the cheese.
