Buckeye Ball Recipe
Easy buckeye ball recipe. My special someone loves peanut butter and chocolate; buckeye balls is easily one of their favorite desserts. Buckeye balls is also a great recipe to do with kids. - 1 1/2 c Peanut Butter
- 1 pkg Chocolate Chips – 12 oz
- 16 oz Confectioner Sugar
- 1 stick of Butter
- 1/2 stick of Parowax or Parafin wax
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- Combine the peanut butter, sugar, vanilla, and butter.
- Form the buckeye ball batter into little balls; chill for one hour.
- Melt the chocolate chips and parowax in a double boiler.
- Insert toothpick into the chilled buckeye ball and dip them into the melted chocolate, leaving the top uncovered. The uncovered spot is considered the buckeye.
- Place chocolate covered buckeye ball on wax paper to cool and remove toothpick
