Easy Buffalo Sauce Recipe

Homemade Buffalo Sauce is a must in my house!  I actually have over 10 different flavors of hot sauce.  Together all of them fill up an entire shelve on the door of my kitchen refrigerator.  Above is a picture of my buffalo sauce ingredients.  You do not have to use these exact brands I do but I will explain the difference between the two hot sauces.  On the left you will notice it is a brighter orange, that is because it is not as spicy as franks, less pepper, but still delicious.    The Louisiana sauce was actually found at a “Dollar Tree” store, best $1 i have ever spent.

source: my own creation

  • 1 c Louisiana Supreme Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 c Franks RedHot Original
  • 1 c Blue Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Old Bay
  • 2 tbsp Garlic
  1. Add all of these ingredients to a pot mix together well.  The medium heat will help all of the ingredients in your pot to release their flavor and become one!  If you are like me and wish for a spicy sauce you can add 1/2 a cup of blue cheese instead of a full cup.

This is great hot sauce that thickens up nice to coat wings, chicken and even better pizza!!

I love that hot sauce. I used to live near Buffalo, NY, and this sauce always reminded me of the wings and things I had as a kid. And yes! Buffalo sauce on pizza is better than on wings!

The Louisiana Supreme Hot Sauce from the Dollar Tree IS the BEST sauce!! I always have a few bottles in the pantry ready to fry up some wings every week for my Redskins games!

Sadly, I have been unable to locate the Louisiana Supreme Hot Sauce, for almost a month. No response or reasoning from the Dollar Tree either. Hopefully, the torture will end soon, as I have to agree, it is the best sauce I have had in years. I typically buy them by the dozen when I can find them.
