Easy Carrot Cake Recipe
Carrot cake is another traditional Easter recipe. Again, I got this recipe from my grandmother since he has been having family over for Easter for as long as I lived. Here is my grandmother’s tasty carrot cake recipe.
source: my grandmother
- 1 Yellow Cake Box Mix
- 4 Large Eggs
- 1 1/4 cup Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
- 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Cold Water
- 1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts
- 2 cups Shredded Carrots
- 1 Tub Vanilla Frosting
- Start your carrot cake recipe by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl combine your cake mix, eggs, Miracle Whip salad dressing, cinnamon and water, and mix everything until it is thoroughly blended.
- Once everything is mixed well you can throw your shredded carrots and chopped walnuts into the bowl as well. Mix.
- Finish things off by pouring your carrot cake mix you just created into a greased 13 by 9 inch pan. Cook for about 35 mins or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- After baking, remove and let cool. Spread on your favorite vanilla frosting and Enjoy your carrot cake!
Hey you! What a fantastic looking cake. It’s so fluffy and moist. I think carrot cake is probably one of my faves. Thanks so much for featuring me and I hope your blog is going well. You’ve got some fantastic-looking recipes.
Thank you, I had to take advantage of my families digital camera that day! I had broke mine a few months ago and have been using my phone for a lot of the pictures recently, it does the job but quality is very weak. None of my photographs every can compare to yours though!
