Chicken Marsala Recipe

Delicious Chicken Marsala dish that is packed with flavor. Lightly coated chicken topped with a nice Marsala sauce and mushrooms. This chicken Marsala recipe will be sure to impress any guest you have. Chicken Marsala is one of my favorite dishes to eat. Servings 4.

  • 4 Chicken Breasts – skinless, boneless
  • 1 1/2 c Mushrooms – sliced
  • 1/4 c Sherry Wine
  • 3/4 c Marsala Wine
  • 4 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 c Flour – all-purpose
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano – dried
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  1. Pound each chicken breast until it is about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. In a large Ziploc bag, blend your flour, oregano, salt and pepper. Dip each chicken into the bag, individually, for a light coating.
  3. Large pan add the oil and butter. Cooking the chicken on medium heat until it is slightly brown.
  4. Once lightly brown, add your mushrooms, sherry and Marsala wine. Cover pan and let simmer for about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Adding a little cornstarch and cold water mixture to the pan while simmering can help thicken the Marsala sauce a bit for better coating.
