Chocolate Cookie Recipe
Great tasting chocolate chip cookies, they have a bit of crunch on the outside but a soft chewy middle. Add a glass a milk and you have yourself a great bed time snack! Enjoy these chocolate chip cookies. Serving size: 24
- 3 c Flour – all purpose
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 c Butter – softened
- 1 c White Sugar
- 1 c Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 tsp Water – hot
- 1 c Walnuts – chopped
- 2 c Chocolate Chips – semi-sweet
- dash Salt
- Start off by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Next mix together the brown sugar, white sugar and the softened butter until it is creamy. Beat in the large eggs and vanilla extract.
- Mix your baking soda into your hot water until it dissolves, then mix it into the batter. Throw in a dash of salt and then slowly mix in your flour, little at a time.
- Once your dough is really you can add your walnuts and chocolate chips, I like to mix this part by hand because a blender often crushes the chocolate chips to the side of the mixing bowl.
- Add parchment paper onto a cookie sheet and begin to add spoonful of cookie dough onto the pan.
- Bake for 10 mins or until the cookie starts to brown.
