Easy Deviled Eggs Recipe

Deviled Eggs are a hit in my family for Easter.  My grandmother’s deviled eggs are the number one requested Easter recipe.   Growing up I was an extremely picky eater so deviled eggs never really appealed to me.  I finally took the leap and tried the famous deviled egg recipe and I instantly understood why my family loved this Easter recipe.  Serves 6.

source: grandmother’s recipe

  • 6 Large Eggs
  • 1/4 c Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp White Wine Vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dill Weed
  • Salt
  1. First step of making deviled eggs is to make hard boiled eggs.  Begin to boil a pot of water, boil your eggs until they all begin to float.  Remove the hard boiled eggs and cool.
  2. While your hard boiled eggs are cooling you can start making your filling.  Mix your mayonnaise, mustard, wine vinegar, garlic powder, dill and salt in a small bowl.
  3. Once your eggs are cooled, remove the shell and slice the eggs in half lengthwise.  Remove the egg yolks and place the yolks into the bowl along with all of your other ingredients.  Mash and mix your yolks in the small bowl.
  4. Finish your deviled eggs recipe by spooning your filling into the egg whites.  Refrigerate until serving.
