Hamburger in Gravy Recipe

If you are sick of the standard American cheese burger then give this a try. Really easy burger recipe that has a lot of different flavors, this would be great for a small BBQ. You can eat this juicy hamburger and gravy on a hamburger bun or served on top of creamy mashed potatoes. Serves 4.

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Brown Gravy Mix – packet
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 5 oz Can Evaporated Milk – can
  • 10 1/2 oz Condensed Cream Of Mushroom Soup – can
  • dash Salt
  • dash Black Pepper
  1. Mix all of the ingredients, except for the gravy mix, in a large mixing bowl. Once thoroughly mixed add in only 2 tsp of brown gravy mix to the rest of the hamburger ingredients.
  2. Form hamburger patties
  3. Mix the remaining brown gravy packet in a separate bowl, following the instructions on the packet.
  4. In a pan, fry the patties and use a spatula to flatten and flip the burger. After 2 or 3 minutes, pour the brown gravy into the pan with the burgers and cover. Let it simmer! Cook the hamburger to your likely.
  5. Finally server your burger on bun and add all your favorite toppings. If you wanted to you can also try serving on top of creamy mashed potatoes.
