Oatmeal Cookies Recipe
Soft chewy oatmeal cookies! Some reason when the colder weather comes around I tend to crave homemade oatmeal cookies as a night time snack. Everyone loves cookies, and if you haven\’t had any oatmeal cookie, be sure to give this recipe a try!
- 8 Lbs Brown Sugar
- 2 Lbs Butter – softened
- 1 1/4 oz Salt
- 5 Lbs Rolled Oats
- 6 Lbs Flour
- 16 oz Milk
- 2 Lbs Shortening
- 2 oz Vanilla
- 3 1/2 oz Baking Powder
- 4 Lbs Craisins
- 2 oz Baking Soda
- 16 Large Eggs
- Preheat your oven at 400 degrees.
- In a blender, mix your butter, shortening, brown sugar and vanilla. Gradually add your eggs.
- In a separate mixing bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients you just sifted into the blender. Once your batter forms, slowly add the milk.
- Finally add the craisins oats to the batter! Spoon on to a cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes til done!

I like craisins. What I also like to do is to add both golden raisins and raisins in my oatmeal cookies.
