Pesto Pasta Recipe
This is a great pesto pasta recipe. The pesto is not to over whelming and the chicken which is mixed into the pesto pasta adds the perfect flavor.
- 2 Chicken Breasts – boneless skinless , cut cubed
- 1 lb Bow Tie - pasta
- 1/3 c Sun-Dried Tomatoes – oil-packed, drain, cut into strips
- 1/2 c pesto sauce
- 2 Garlic Cloves – minced
- dash Red Pepper Flakes
- First start off by boiling a large pot of water. Add your bow tie pasta and cook for about 10 minutes or until the bow ties are a little al dente.
- In a large pan, Saute the minced garlic, red pepper flakes and chicken on medium high heat. Continue until chicken is fully cooked.
- While the chicken is cooking, in a large mixing bowl, combine your cooked pasta, pesto and sun-dried tomato strips (optional). Mix well.
