Raspberry Smoothie Recipe

I often go through phases of trying to eat healthy so I decide to start creating smoothies for breakfast or dessert.  This raspberry smoothie is one of my all time favorites, actually I am a sucker for smoothies so in my next drink recipe I will probably call that smoothie one of my all time favorites as well. Hope you enjoy this raspberry smoothie as much as I do!

  • 1  banana (medium)
  • 1/2 c red raspberries
  • 1/2 c black raspberries
  • 1/2 c yogurt
  • 1/2 c ice

  1. Start off by cutting up the black raspberries into small enough pieces so you will be able to suck them through a straw.
  2. Next you can place your banana, yogurt, red raspberries and half of cup of ice into your blender and blend it all together.
  3. Before pouring your smoothie into a glass I like place half of your chopped black raspberries at the bottom of the cup.  Once they are laying at the bottom go ahead and pour your smoothie into the glass.  Take the remaining half of the black raspberries and rest them on top of the smooth.    I like this because you get to enjoy the berries in the beginning and end of your raspberry smoothie.
