
Spicy Shrimp Recipe
Summer is here and everyone is enjoying the beach and local seafood restaurants. Bring the great taste of seafood to your home with this spicy shrimp recipe. Really easy to make, this spicy shrimp recipe takes only 20 minutes to prep and cook. Yields 2 pounds of spicy shrimp. You can add the spicy shrimp to pasta for dinner or eat the spicy shrimp with a stick as an appetizer. Don’t wait for the summer to end, enjoy this spicy shrimp on the deck on a nice evening.
- 2 lbs Shrimp – jumbo, shell-on
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 3 cloves Garlic – sliced
- 1/3 c Olive Oil – extra-virgin
- 1/4 c Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp Basil – fresh, chopped
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- In a large skillet heat the oil and garlic on high heat.
- Once garlic becomes translucent, add the paprika and red pepper flakes to the oil.
- Throw in the shrimp and mix well.
- Once shrimp becomes bright pink, continue to cook for an extra minute or two.
