Easy Chicken and Pasta Recipe
Happy Valentine’s Day!
This is a little dish I came up with a few days before Valentine’s Day. It is an extremely easy recipe to prepare and has a little holiday twist to it.
source: my own creation
- Indgredients
- Boneless Chicken Breast (1 per dish)
- Wheat Spaghetti (.25lbs per dish)
- Alfredo Sauce (brand Classico – Four Cheese)
- Broccoli (frozen or fresh)
- Red Food Coloring
- First, start bringing two pots of water to boil for your spaghetti and broccoli. I usually use frozen bagged broccoli because I do big food shopping once a month and don’t have time to keep fresh broccoli around. As for the Wheat Spaghetti, I don’t really have a preference yet I usually go with whatever is on sale.
- Second, take out a third pot so you can start to heat up your Alfredo sauce. To make life easy I just picked up a jar of Classico Four Cheese Alfredo sauce. It not only tastes great but it is one of the healthiest jarred Alfredo sauces in my supermarket. Heat on low and mix in some red food coloring to make the sauce PINK!
- After all your pots are under control you can start to prepare your chicken breast anyway you like. I like to cut my boneless chicken breast thin before grilling or pan frying them. Before cooking them I made sure to tenderize the chicken with a kitchen mallet or you could use the opposite side of your knife to hit your chicken. Becareful though. You can also add some salt, pepper and a little garlic powder to your liking.
- Finally, put everything together and enjoy Valentine’s Day with someone special. Hope you enjoyed this easy recipe.
